Patrizia Andrè and Giusy Virone, co-founders of Jeko, were employees and colleagues for many years. Until they decided, 15 years ago, when both were pregnant, to resign and start a company together to handle labor inspections, corporate certification, and now also skills certification and gender equality. "We are all women, we work remotely wherever possible, and we have always emphasized empathy," they told Dossier. "Men? Either they don't apply, or they can't perform at their best in a predominantly female environment, where the boss is a woman. However, the atmosphere we've created within the company is calm and one of great trust, because we understand the challenges women face. This allows us to continually make progress.
